CSA Steaua, harsh communication to the FRF: “They do not respect Steaua and the Steaua supporters”

CSA Steaua is in full conflict with the Romanian Football Federation, after the name “CSA Steaua Armatei” appeared in a document on the institution’s website. The Red-Blues issued a harsh statement on Wednesday.

CSA Steaua accuses the Romanian Football Federation of disrespect

In a document published on the website of the Romanian Football Federation, which includes the cases before the Discipline and Ethics Commission, the team from Ghencea appears under the name “CSA Steaua Armatei”.

The red-blue supporters noticed the detail, and on social networks they categorized the problem as “a joke”, asking the club’s management to take a stand.

In a statement posted on the Facebook page, the star players accuse the FRF of disrespect and demand swift action to correct the name.

After we were judged by the commissions of the federation with a different unit of measure compared to other clubs, in identical cases, we have a new proof of “professionalism” from the Commission of Discipline and Ethics, within the FRF. In the table with the list of sanctions decided for the senior matches pending in the meeting of March 20, 2024, published on the official website of the federation, the name “CSA Steaua Armatei” appears next to our club.

We remind everyone, including FRF employees, that the official name of our club is Clubul Sportiv al Armatei Steaua.

We hope that it is a technical editing mistake and that the federation has not started practicing techniques used, almost every day, by the mass media in Romania to mislead the fans that there are more teams with the name Steaua.

There is only one team Steaua Bucharest and no matter how hard you try, you cannot deny the reality.

We ask the Romanian Football Federation to take measures, as quickly as possible, to correct the name of our team, and to make it easier for you in the future and to avoid any more problems, you can simply call us STEAUA BUCHARESTI!” – it is stated in the CSA Steaua press release.
