The LPF dictated harsh sanctions for Dinamo and UTA following the incidents at the Arc de Triomphe

LPF announced the sanctions applied to Dinamo and UTA Arad clubs, following the incidents on March 8 at the Arc de Triumf arena, in the last stage of the regular season (30).

The start of the match was interrupted about 10 minutes after a general brawl between fans that took place both outside the stadium and on the playing field. Dinamo’s ultras clashed with UTA supporters, supported in turn by CSA Steaua fans. Dozens of seats in the stands were destroyed, while the turf suffered from torches and firecrackers.

Matches without spectators and fines for both teams

Thus, the Disciplinary Commission within the FRF decided that Dinamo and UTA will play the next 4 games on their own ground without spectators. Moreover, each individual club must pay a fine of approximately 20,000 euros.

Thus, Zeljko Kopic’s band will perform without spectators in the meetings with Petrolul, Poli Iași, Voluntari and UTA.

On the other side, the Arada players coached by Mircea Rednic will play without spectators against FC Botoșani, Hermannstadt, Oțelul and FC U Craiova.
