“Together in paradise“, wrote Caius Covrig in the post on Instagram, in which he announced that he and his girlfriend, Teodora, went to Thailand on vacation.

Caius Covrig will turn 28 on April 29. He lived for a long time in the United States, where he played basketball performance. In the US, he played basketball in the first division of the NCAA.

Caius Covrig gave up his career as a professional basketball player and returned permanently to Romania. He owns a luxury hotel in Buşteni and a luxury restaurant/lounge in Braşov.

Caius Covrig did not completely cut ties with the United States either, revealing that he has an import-export company in the USA.

Back in Romania from the United States, Caius Covrig didn’t shy away from saying to his face what surprised him in our country.

“Since I came back to Romania, I kept seeing things like this: cars more expensive than the apartment and people living in rent. From my point of view, the car should not represent more than 10% of the building in which you live.

I work extremely hard for my age, I don’t think I’ve been out to the club twice in the last two years. I’d rather stay at 40 with 20 hotels open. There are many people so poor that all they have is money. Arrogance and snobbery like in Romania do not exist anywhere“, explained Caius Covrig, on the Fiță cu Adiță podcast.

In 2022, Caius Covrig was awarded the title of “Entrepreneur of the Year” in our country.

The millionaire who returned to Romania from the USA had a terrible accident. Caius Covrig (27 years old) said that he overturned with his car last year and his arm was amputated.

Caius Covrig confessed that his life has completely changed since that accident.

“Last year I had the biggest win of my life! I crashed my car, flipped 5 times and ended up with an 18 bolt rod in my arm. I stayed in bed for 4 weeks. I passed… When I arrived at the Emergency, the doctor told me that he had to amputate my arm.

The sky fell on my head! At 25 years old! Since last year my whole life has changed. The sky may fall, anything may happen, I am happy, there is no one more optimistic than me“, Caius Covrig testified in the podcast quoted above.
