The National Meteorological Administration has issued a new severe weather warning. Thus, from 12.00 a yellow code of torrential rains and electrical discharges comes into force in the Western Carpathians, the west of the Southern Carpathians, the south-west of Transylvania and locally in Banat.
Meteorologists announce code yellow for quantitatively significant rains and atmospheric instability, for several counties. The specialists also state that the weather continues to cool. According to ANM, on Thursday, between 12:00 and 23:00, there will be periods of increased atmospheric instability that will be manifested by torrential downpours and, in limited areas, electrical discharges.

Dangerous phenomena will be reported in the Western Carpathians, the west of the Southern Carpathians, the southwest of Transylvania and locally in Banat.
“In short periods of time or through accumulation, the amounts of water will be 20…25 l/sq m and isolated over 40 l/sq m. The thermal values will continue to decrease, so they will be slightly below the multi-annual averages specific to this data”, transmitted the National Meteorological Administration.

In Bucharest, according to the ANM, the sky will be cloudy and there will be conditions for occasional light rain.
The wind will generally blow moderately. The maximum temperature will be around 19 degrees.
