Marcel Ciolacu, direct warning to the director of the Romanian Post, in case pensions will not reach people because of the strike. The postmaster will most likely go home.

Romanian Post employees have stopped their work and are already accusing management of pressure.

In this scandal, however, millions of pensioners could suffer: they risk receiving their pensions later.

The management of the Romanian Post claims that it made an offer for those with the minimum wage to receive around 400 lei more, but that this offer was refused.

Valentin Ștefan, the general director of the Post Office, said on Monday that mobile teams had been prepared to take over the activity.

He specified that he made a last offer so that those with the lowest salaries would end up receiving an extra 390 lei, which is about a quarter of the employees.
