Dacia Sandero continues to be one of the most popular models in the Dacia range and records good sales on the Old Continent. Although we do not have precise figures on the specific sales of the Sandero model in the first two months of 2024, it is clear that it contributes significantly to the leading position of the Dacia brand in the ranking of registrations in Europe.

Being an affordable model with a very good price-quality ratio, Dacia Sandero attracts a wide range of customers, being appreciated both for its technical characteristics and its affordable price. Its popularity continues to grow, and Dacia remains an important name in the European automotive industry, according to ProMotor.

It is remarkable that Dacia started the year with good registration figures, managing to outperform models from world-class car manufacturers such as Toyota and Volkswagen.

According to the data provided by Economica.net, Dacia Sandero, the emblematic model of the Romanian brand that managed to establish itself in the previous year as well, ranking 2nd in the ranking of European registrations, occupied the first place in the ranking of registrations in Europe with a total of 20,790 units registered in the first two months of 2024. This subcompact model from Dacia was followed on the February podium by the Tesla Model Y, with 19,760 units registered, and the Volkswagen Golf, with 19,490 units registered.

In January of this year, Dacia Sandero dominated the European ranking, registering 25,038 registered units, followed by Volkswagen Golf and Toyota Yaris Cross. By the end of February, the number of registered Dacia Sandero models reached 45,835. In second place was the Volkswagen Golf, with 38,053 units, while on the last step of the podium was the Peugeot 208, with 34,962 registered units.

As for the Dacia Duster, the model currently produced exclusively at Mioveni, it ranks 11th after the first two months, with a total of 26,821 registered units. Likewise, the other crossover assembled exclusively in Romania, the Ford Puma, was purchased by 25,120 Europeans, ranking 14th in the ranking. It is expected that we will see an increase in demand for Dacia Duster, given that the manufacturer has started accepting orders for the new generation, and the first examples are scheduled to be delivered to customers this summer.
