WhatsApp introduces a much-awaited feature by users. It will completely change the way calls are made

WhatsApp is introducing a new feature for its Android users, offering a calling menu integrated directly into the messaging app.

This feature, intended to simplify the calling process by using the Internet connection, was recently revealed in the beta version of the application.

The feature allows users to call contacts directly, using the mobile data network or Wi-Fi, without resorting to traditional mobile phone service.

This is useful for those who have limited minutes or are abroad.

With this update, WhatsApp is trying to eliminate the need to use the Android system’s call menu, reports Android Authority.

Users will no longer have to make mobile calls to unsaved contacts and will have the option to use internet connectivity by simply calling through WhatsApp without having to save a phone number to their contact list first.

This feature is still in testing and it is not clear when it will be available.
