Events in May: SepsiBook, flower fairs, traditional local products and crafts, folk dance festival and the official opening of the tourist season in Covasna

The third edition of the “SepsiBook” Book Fair and Contemporary Literature Festival, flower fairs, local products and traditional crafts in Sfântu Gheorghe, Târgu Secuiesc and Covasna, the folk dance festival “Izvoare covasnene”, but also the official opening of the tourist season in the resort of Covasna, is among the events scheduled to take place this month in the county.

On the weekend May 10-12in the Liberty Square in Sfântu Gheorghe there will be a new edition of the Fair of local producers and craftsmen, as well as a spring flower fair, and on Saturday, May 11and in Gábor Áron Square in Târgu Secuiesc there will be a Fair of local products and crafts.

The official opening of the tourist season in the resort of Covasna will be marked this weekend 18 – 19 Maywith a series of activities organized on the promenade and in the courtyard of the Orăsenești House of Culture, and the participants will also be able to visit a fair of traditional and local products.

The third edition of the “SepsiBook” Book Fair and Contemporary Literature Festival will take place during May 23-26at Arena Sepsi in Sfântu Gheorghe, and among the authors and artists who will be present at the most anticipated book event of the year in Covasna county are Gabriela Adameșteanu, Marius Chivu, Adina Rosetti, Ada Milea and Bobo Burlăcianu.

In addition to the stands of the participating publishing houses, a large stage, a podium, AdoleScena and the Children’s Universe will be located at Arena Sepsi, where cultural and entertainment events will take place for all ages and preferences, but there will also be culinary offers, according to the organizers .
