In the evening of May 7, the police officers from the 4th Pitești Police Department carried out a routine action on Gheorghe Doja street in the municipality
Pitesti, which led to the detection of a 54-year-old man, residing in Bascov, while he was driving a vehicle.
Following the checks carried out in the databases of the Romanian Police, it was found that the man appeared with a suspended driving license. This information was obtained using a supplied mobile device equipped with the eDAC application.
According to the legislation in force, in such situations a criminal file is drawn up according to article 335 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code. Investigations are ongoing to clarify the precise circumstances of the incident and to take appropriate legal action.
