On May 7th, the police officers of the 4th Podu Turcului Rural Police Section detected a 22-year-old man from the Răchitoasa commune in flagrante delicto, while he was driving a tractor in the locality, being under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
He was tested with the breathalyzer, resulting in a concentration of 0.49 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air, after which he was transported to the hospital where biological blood samples were taken in order to accurately determine the alcohol level.
From the checks carried out in the database, it emerged that the young man does not have a driving license for any category of vehicle, and the tractor is not registered.
Investigations are being continued in a criminal file regarding the offenses of driving a vehicle on public roads without a driver’s license, under the influence of alcohol or other substances and putting into circulation or driving an unregistered vehicle.
