Crin Antonescu declared exclusively on Digi24 that he will vote for Sebastian Burduja for the position of mayor of the Capital in this year’s local elections. The former PNL leader brought several arguments for his option, including the fact that he is a young man “who comes with a program, he also wrote a book”.

Crin Antonescu, former PNL president: Regarding the Capital City Hall, I do not make any predictions, much less prophecies. I am satisfied that in this situation I already have, and I don’t think it will change, a voting option. I will vote for Sebastian Burduja because it seems to me that he is a young man, he is the only new one who has never led Bucharest or a sector and he is a man who comes with a program, he also wrote a book, and in any case he I see every day wanting to have this debate which is the core of democracy and the absolutely necessary condition of an election. The fact that the general mayor and other counter-candidates refuse or postpone or avoid this matter seems unacceptable to me. But, I repeat, at least here I have a formula and no matter who wins, for me a useful vote means the vote given to the one I believe in or the one in whose chance I think could change something for the better.
