“I have no discussion… We have a decision in the coalition that the elections are in September, on the 15th and 29th. It’s a decision made. Naturally, I didn’t do the paperwork, I didn’t submit the documents to the government because we have other elections. But the political decision is very clear. There will be elections in September”, says Marcel Ciolacu.
He states that the presidential elections are not organized according to the results of the June 9 elections.
“I do not change the election dates depending on the electoral scores of a party or a person. The elections for the position of president are in September. This is what I say from the position of prime minister”, concluded Ciolacu.
