The weather will cool down in most regions of the country in the coming days, but from the middle of next week the maximum temperatures will reach 28 degrees Celsius, according to the forecast issued by the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) for the period May 6-19, 2024.

Precipitation will prevail in most regions in the next two weeks, in certain time intervals, writes Agerpres.

The weather will be warm in the first two days (May 6 and 7), with an average daily temperature around 26 degrees Celsius, but in the middle of the week, especially on May 9 and 10, it will cool down, and the temperatures maximums will generally be 19-20 degrees. For the interval May 11-14, the average maximum temperatures will rise slightly to 22-23 degrees, and after May 15, values ​​around 28 degrees are estimated. The average minimum temperatures will generally be 10-12 degrees Celsius, with slightly higher values ​​after the middle of the month.

There will be rain over relatively large areas on May 9 and 10, and intervals with local rain will be possible in the rest of the interval, especially during the afternoons.

Crisana

The weather will be warm in the first two days (May 6 and 7), with an average daily temperature of 25-26 degrees Celsius, but for the period May 8-14, lower maximum temperatures are forecast, but generally close to the averages climatological, between 19 and 22 degrees. Towards the end of the forecast two weeks it will warm up, so the average maximum temperature will rise to 26 degrees. The average minimum temperatures will generally be between 9 and 12 degrees.

Transylvania

In the first two days of the interval (May 6 and 7), the thermal values ​​will be above the climatological normal, with an average maximum of 24-25 degrees Celsius, but a significant cooling will follow on the days of May 8, 9 and 10 , when the weather will become cool, the regional average of maximums will oscillate between 16 and 18 degrees. For the interval May 11-14, the average maximum temperatures will rise slightly to 20 degrees, and after May 15, values ​​around 25 degrees are estimated. The average minimum temperatures will be between 6 and 10 degrees, with lower values ​​in the intramontane depressions.

Moldavia

The weather will be warm in the first two days (May 6 and 7), with an average daily temperature around 26 degrees, but on May 8 it will cool down significantly, and the regional average of maximum temperatures will be 16 degrees. For the period 9 – 15 May, the average maximum temperatures will have
small variations from one day to the next and it will be between 18 and 22 degrees, and after May 16 values ​​around 26 degrees are estimated. The average minimum temperatures will be 6-8 degrees during May 9-15 and 10-12 degrees Celsius in the rest of the interval.

The probability of rain will be higher between May 7-9 and after May 13.

Dobrogea

In the first two days of the interval (May 6 and 7), the regional average of maximum temperatures will be 22-24 degrees Celsius, it will drop to 18 degrees on May 8, and on the coolest days of the interval, respectively on the 9 and May 10 will be around 16 degrees. Afterwards, it will warm up slightly to values ​​of 20-21 degrees, and after May 17, maximums of 24-25 degrees are estimated. The average minimum temperatures will be between 8 and 12 degrees, with higher values ​​in the morning of May 8 and towards the end of the forecast interval.

The probability of rain will be higher around May 9 and between May 13 and 15.

Muntenia

The weather will be warm in the first two days (May 6 and 7), with a regional average of maximum temperatures of 26-28 degrees. Afterwards, the weather will cool down, and maximum temperatures of 18-19 degrees Celsius are forecast for May 9 and 10. For the interval 11 –

In the mountains, the average maximum temperatures will be 14 degrees at the beginning of the interval, it will oscillate between 8 and 10 degrees between May 8 and 14, and towards the end of the second decade, values ​​around 16 degrees are estimated. The evolution will be similar in the case of the minimum temperatures, which will have an average of 6 degrees in the first nights, will decrease to 1-2 degrees on May 10 and 11 and will rise to 8 degrees at the end of the interval.
