According to the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM), 22,165 Ukrainian citizens registered in the records of territorial agencies to benefit from information, professional counseling and labor mediation services, between 24.02.2022 and 29.04.2024.
The largest number of Ukrainian refugee citizens registered in the Unemployment records were in the counties: Constanta (5,381), Bucharest (5,153), Ilfov (1,800), Maramureş (1,444), Braşov (1,443), Suceava (849), Galati (812), Cluj (695), Iasi (669), Sibiu (589), Timiş (538), etc.
According to official data, 2,993 Ukrainian citizens were employed on the labor market, in jobs such as: manual packer; unskilled worker in the demolition of buildings, masonry linings, mosaic tiles, faience, tiles, parquet; kitchen helper; merchandise handler; janitor; kitchen worker (washer of large dishes); trade worker; unskilled worker in the packaging of solid and semi-solid products; unskilled worker in assembling, mounting parts; unskilled worker in breaking and cutting construction materials; building caretaker; Hotel maid; waiter help; assembly fitter; unskilled worker in the clothing industry; instructor-educator for resocialization activities; caretaker of hotel premises; administrative officer; social pedagogue; cook; manicurist; specialized educator; data entry, validation and processing operator; And so on
According to ANOFM, 654 employers showed their willingness to hire Ukrainian citizens, declaring 5,791 job vacancies available for these people as well.
