Five county roads will be modernized with almost 35 million euros. In that amount, design services, technical assistance and the execution of the works will be provided.
The project refers to:
- “Rehabilitation of road infrastructure of county interest on DJ 663 that crosses the localities of Dâmbova-Urecheşti,
- DJ 672C that crosses the towns of Tălpăşeşti-Runcu,
- DJ 672B that crosses the towns of Ursați-Suseni,
- DJ 665A that crosses the towns of Bălăneşti-Grui,
- DJ 664 that crosses Turcinești-Ursați localities.
The auction is scheduled for June 4 and has a value of 173,887,420 lei. The design services, technical support services from the designer and the execution of works are aimed at:
- improving the current situation of the infrastructure within the rural area;
- improving access to national roads 66, 67 and 67D;
- improving access to other economic and tourist objectives in the area.
The project will aim at making the county roads DJ 663, DJ 672C, DJ 672B, DJ 665A and DJ 664A viable, respectively bringing them up to current technical parameters and will mainly consist of:
- rectification in plan, in transverse profile of the elements of the existing road sectors and the elimination of dangerous points, if necessary;
- rehabilitation of the road structure;
- arrangement of approaches;
- solving the drainage of water along the entire route of expert roads;
- the arrangement of gutters and ditches to collect and direct rainwater;
- laying out the pavements in order to ensure the collection and drainage of rainwater.

Roads of tourist importance
By completing these road infrastructure rehabilitation works of county interest, the residents of the road area will benefit from optimal road travel conditions, without encountering difficulties in daily travel during the rainy seasons. “The general objective of the project is to increase the degree of accessibility of rural areas and indirectly of urban areas located in the proximity of the TEN-T network, by rehabilitating county roads DJ 663, DJ 672C, DJ 672B, DJ 665A and DJ 664A. â
County roads 663, 672C, 672B, 665A and 664A are of public utility and can be found in the Annex on county roads on the territory of Gorj County and in the public domain of the Gorj County Council.
On this date, the county roads 663, 672C, 672B, 665A and 664A are tabulated and definitively entered in the land register of travel and the reduction of vehicle operating costs.
Improving accessibility to the main areas of the county
“This rehabilitation is a timely and necessary work due to the general improvement of accessibility to the main areas of the county, with possibilities of:
- increase in the number of daily vehicles by attracting tourists, economic agents, etc.;
- increasing the level of local service;
- increasing the volume of transported goods with the assurance of economic development potential;
- decrease in the level of air pollution and noise pollution;
- saving time and fuel.
The object of the purchase
The object of the public procurement is:
- the provision of design services (phase – Technical project of execution, Technical documentation for the authorization of the execution of construction works – DTAC,
- Technical documentation for the authorization of the execution of the organization of works – DTOE,
- Climate Immunization Analysis Documentation),
- quality technical verification services,
- technical assistance services from the designer during the execution of the works,
- execution,
- the completion and maintenance of the works regarding the mentioned investment objective”, according to the Gorj County Council.
