In 2023 alone, the jump was 260 million lei compared to the income of the previous year. However, the company’s profit fell.

Premier Restaurants România SRL from Bucharest reported a turnover of 1.73 billion lei last year. This after the previous year, in 2022, the turnover was almost 1.47 billion lei. Thus, a turnover of almost 260 million lei more was recorded in 2023 compared to the previous year. In percentage terms, the increase was 18% compared to the previous year.

Record turnover

The turnover in 2023 was a record for the company. Compared to 2020, when a turnover of 860 million lei was recorded, the revenues of Premier Restaurants Romania SRL have doubled.

The first McDonald’s restaurant in Romania opened in 1995, at Piața Unirii in Bucharest. Since 2016, McDonald’s is part of the Premier Capital family, the operator of McDonald’s restaurants in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Malta and Romania. At that moment, McDonald’s Romania became Premier Restaurants Romania SRL.

The main object of activity of Premier Restaurants Romania SRL from Bucharest is the management and services of “restaurants” (CAEN code 5610).

Profit decreased

The profit of Premier Restaurants Romania SRL in 2023 was 144 million lei. The figure is lower than the previous year by 18%. In 2022, the profit was 175 million lei.

Last year the average number of employees was 4,698 employees, an increase of 9% compared to the previous year.

The shareholder comes from Malta

The sole shareholder of Premier Restaurants Romania SRL is the Maltese fund Premier Capital PLC.
