Gorjenii called the County Ambulance Service to intervene in 12 traffic accidents, which happened during the holidays. In addition, there have been cases of excess alcohol or abdominal colic caused by too much food.
“We had a total of 389 requests for events that were attended to by the cars of the Gorj County Ambulance Service. So, we had an intense activity during this period. I could tell you that, within the county, I had 12 road accidents in which I intervened. Because of food consumption, I had 20 abdominal colic. At the same time, I can tell you that I intervened in 15 cases of drunkenness. I also had 9 cases of psychomotor agitation, I also had a helicopter, during this period. So, we also had a helicopter during this period. So it was an intense period for us which we coped with brilliantly without any problem. Unfortunately, however, the number of requests was quite high for the holidays at the Gorj County Ambulance Service, but we are on duty, we are at the citizen’s service and we intervene absolutely whenever needed. The helicopter intervened in a road accident, there was a victim who had to be transported by helicopter”, says Tiberiu Tătaru, director of the Gorj County Ambulance Service.
