Teleorman military firefighters intervened in 184 events between 01 and 07 May, the most difficult for the rescuers being the road accidents produced within the radius of Gratia and Plosca, on Friday and Saturday, resulting in a total of six victims.

Thus, according to ISU Teleorman, at Gratia, three people, one of whom was incarcerated, were saved by the firefighters and medical crews who arrived on the scene. The event was managed by the soldiers of the Videle Fire Department and the Roata de Jos Intervention Guard (Giurgiu county), who acted with two fire trucks with extrication mode and two SMURD ambulances, as well as two medical crews from the Emergency Service Teleorman ambulance. The SMURD helicopter came to their support and picked up an unconscious victim and transported her to a hospital in Bucharest. All injured persons, aged between 25 and 44, received qualified first aid and were transported to hospital.

In Plosca, the road event took place on Saturday, around 01:05, resulting in three victims, men, aged between 17 and 48 years. In order to manage this emergency situation, the military firefighters from the Alexandria Detachment acted on the scene, with a special fire truck, an extrication, an SMURD ambulance and two SAJ Teleorman crews. One of the victims was stuck in the deformed body, which was removed by the Teleormani military. Injured, conscious and cooperative persons with various traumas received qualified first aid and were transported to the hospital. In both road incidents, after taking over the victims, the firefighters continued the missions of ensuring fire prevention and extinguishing measures, and the competent authorities carried out specific investigations in such situations.
