Through a post activated on the own Facebook account, clarifications were made regarding the Vrancea Trophy 2024 season

– Within the Vrancea Trophy 2024 season, the new series of National and International tournaments is confirmed, through which the Circuit reaffirms its status as the most important suite of sports competitions in Vrancea!
– Thus, between 01 and 09 June 2024 in Focșani, the international ITF Pro W15 Țiriac Foundation Trophy Future Series tournament will take place, the 15th edition of the parent competition, carrying the Vrancea Trophy flag, organized by the Romanian Tennis Federation and the Ion Foundation Țiriac in partnership with Tennis Club Focșani – George Bucuroiu Tennis School.
– FRT reminds, through the document confirming the organization of the tournaments, that we benefit from the happy association and thanks to the coordination of the efforts of the Vrancea County Council, through the vision and openness shown in these last years by the late President Cătălin Toma, with those of the private sector, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the tennis movement at Local and Regional level, the current year therefore culminating in the organization of two international competitions in Focșani. One of them being a First Tennis Europe Edition, dedicated to 16-year-old juniors, also organized in collaboration with FRT, between July 20 and 28, 2024.
– As has happened so far, we express the confidence that the events dedicated to tennis are still part of the vision of support and development of the Vrancea County Council, for whose contribution we bear the well-deserved gratitude and together with whom we plan to further strengthen the high standard of to our dedicated community services and for which we are also happy to receive important support from a beautiful number of precious and trusted Sponsors, Partners and Friends!
– The resumption of the organization of the International ITF Pro Tournament for senior women with prizes of $15,000 and 18 WTA points up for grabs, in addition to the first edition of the Tennis Europe tournament for juniors, in this new competitive year Vrancea Trophy are a crowning of our perennial efforts, refreshing the spirit and atmosphere of very good quality International tennis in Focșani.
– The coagulation and involvement of so many factors in the transposition of such events into reality make possible and continue the contribution to the promotion of tennis in and from Vrancea at the highest possible level, consolidating the significance acquired by the Vrancea Trophy in National, International and, very importantly, tennis for us, they reinforce the impact and services brought to our local Community, in our more than 20 years of existence.
– Last but not least, we welcome the support of the Focșani City Hall for the logistical support it can and we want it to continue to provide for the smooth running of these actions and, of course, to our Main Sponsors Alfredo Seafood, iDNA Power, Edil Italy, Official Partners Casa Italia Supermercato, Sandent, Petruța Florist, Mini Market MaxiCom and all those who continue to join us and contribute to bringing the Local, Regional, National and International sports show to the tennis courts in Focșani and Vrancea.
