Mihăiță Troacă submitted his candidacy for a new mandate as mayor of Padeș commune. In the June 9 elections, he will run for the third time, although the first mandate, the one obtained in 2012, was not completed due to criminal charges.

In 3 and a half years, I have investments of almost 1000 billion in the Padeș commune, without the road that I obtained from the PSD government, which connects Herculane and Cerna Sat, which, likewise, is somewhere around 1000 billion . If we sit and think, in not even 3 years of mandate, because for a year or so there was a pandemic, as far as I remember, I stayed at home, I say that it is a very big benefit for the Padeș commune. The facts speak. I have no counter-candidates in Padeș commune. Not that I’m arrogant, I don’t want to be arrogant, but people decide. Any mayor who comes and whoever he is, must understand that the mayor is subject to the people. This is the true mayor of the people, the mayor who works for the people, not for himself,” the mayor said. Mihăiță Troacă continues investments in infrastructure modernization. He proposed that, in the next 4 years, the accommodation places for tourists will increase from 100 to 500. The mayor states that, this year alone, the investment budget is around 550 billion old lei.
