A PSD deputy mayor hit a woman from the PNL campaign team: “What happened is serious. A gang of aggressors”

Voinea Constantin, the deputy mayor of Rătești commune, is accused of hitting a woman, a member of the PNL Argeș campaign team, Radu Perianu, the PNL candidate for the position of president of the Argeș County Council, said in a press release.

“Today, a tragic episode for Romanian democracy happened in Argeș. A PSD leader, deputy mayor of the Rătești commune, hit a woman, a member of the PNL Argeș campaign team,” the PNL press release said.

Radu Perianu, the PNL candidate for the position of president of the Argeș County Council, declares himself outraged by what happened and requests the president of the Argeș County Council and PSD to publicly condemn the gesture and exclude the aggressor from the party.

“Ion Mânzînă and PSD Argeș have turned into a gang of aggressors. Mr. Mănzînă, I know that Fesenist and Pesedist politics characterize you, that you are desperate to lose the elections. But that doesn’t give you the right to hit citizens who have a different political choice. I ask you to publicly condemn the gesture of your aggressor colleague, Voinea Constantin, the deputy mayor of the commune of Răteşti, and to exclude him from the PSD!”, he also transmits.

Perianu explained that “the victim suffered a physical trauma, but also a mental one and will need medical help”.

“What happened is serious! The victim suffered a physical trauma, but also a mental one and will need medical help. That is precisely why he filed a criminal complaint against the pesedist aggressor. It is inadmissible to hit a woman. There is no justification for today’s attack. Politics is not done with violence. I don’t allow you to intimidate the residents of Argeș County. They are the ones who have suffered for decades because of your harmful way of doing politics, but they are still more powerful than any political cabal you patronize. Dear citizens of Arges, on June 9, let’s vote to remove Ion Mînzînă and his gang of aggressors from politics”, Radu Perianu also declared.
