Venus Aquapark in Băile 1 Mai covers an area of 4.3 hectares, has six pools with thermal water, two special pools for children, a jacuzzi pool, a swimming pool and a slide with four tracks of varying degrees of difficulty .

Bihor county is known throughout the country, and not only, for its aquaparks and thermal beaches. If the Nymphaea Aquapark in Oradea, the President Complex, Strandurile Felix and Apolo and the 5-star Complex – Lotus Therm in Băile Felix are no longer a novelty, from this spring a new aquapark is available to tourists. It is about the Venus Aquapark in Baile 1 Mai.

Inaugurated at the end of August 2023 and being open for a very short period, starting this spring, Venus Aquapark presents itself to tourists in all its splendor. The former Venus beach, an emblematic place of water fun in Baile 1 Mai, with a history of over 40 years, reopened to the public after a six-year break, with a new look.

SC Turism Felix, the company that manages the beach, has completely transformed this beloved destination into a modern and exciting aquatic paradise, succeeding in combining tradition with innovation to bring new experiences to visitors.

In its new version, Aquapark Venus stands out for its modernized facilities. This means that the beach has been equipped with the most advanced equipment and technologies for filtering and cleaning the water, which ensures the highest water quality for a bathing and relaxing experience in optimal conditions.

A number of new attractions and slides with innovative designs have been added to the beach area, designed to offer guests unprecedented sensations and fun to match.

The Aquapark offers water fun for the whole family, from water play areas for children, special facilities, to which are added activities for children and adults: aquazumba, foam party, etc.

The beach also features enhanced dining options.

Venus Aquapark in numbers

The Aquapark covers a generous area of 4.3 hectares. It has six thermal water pools, two special children’s pools, a jacuzzi pool and a swimming pool. It also has a slide with four tracks of varying degrees of difficulty.

The Aquapark can simultaneously receive 2,000 visitors. The price of a ticket is 50 lei for adults and 25 lei for children.

The future sounds good

Răzvan Pîrjol, the new CEO of SC Turism Felix, the company that manages the base, has big plans for Venus Aquapark, both in terms of access to the beach and the extension of its use period towards the cold season.

“In order to reduce the waiting time at the entrance and for a better fluidity, we thought of introducing online ticket sales and wristband access, just like at the Nymphaea Aquapark in Oradea,” said Răzvan Pîrjol for Transilvania Business .

He also plans to build a covered area within the beach to extend its activity for the cold season as well.

Also, for a next phase of the development of the aquapark project, the general director of SC Turism Felix says that a receptive structure, not necessarily a hotel, has been thought of, which could be a glamping structure.
