On the night of the Resurrection, the Observatory teams will report on the solemn moments in Jerusalem, Bucharest, Iaşi and Constanţa. Mădălina Iacob, Bianca Iacob, Clara Mihociu and Cristina Niţă will bring LIVE images and information from Israel, respectively from the Radu Vodă Monastery (Bucharest), the Metropolitan Cathedral from Iasi and the Archbishop’s Cathedral from Constanta. This year, in Port Tomis, Archbishop Teodosie will bring the holy light from the sea, then he will officiate the Resurrection service.

“Being together on the most important night of Christianity is truly a joy. We are all witnesses of a miracle, with the emotions of a new beginning that we aim to experience even more intensely, every time. On Resurrection Night, together with my colleague Bogdan Alecsandru and the theologian Marius Ciulu, we gather the happiness of an entire country and share it with you. Everything, in the hope that we will remain as good, sincere and generous all year” – Andrea Milea

“I am delighted that I will be able to receive the news of the Resurrection of Jesus with millions of viewers from all over the country. We are all waiting for the ultimate moment of Christianity, the culmination of Acts, for those who choose to live this event under the power of faith and not the marketing that sells anything, anyway. On Holy Easter, the Light of the Resurrection is received, and together with my colleague Andreea Milea and our guest, the theologian Marius Ciulu, a renowned researcher of this very profound field, we will receive the good news and we will pass it on through words and images from some among the most beautiful Orthodox buildings in the country. We are waiting for you to sit at the same table and share the same joy!” – Bogdan Alecsandru

“We bring you the emotion of the Resurrection from the holiest place on Earth. When the light descends on the Holy Sepulcher on Holy Saturday, we will all witness the miracle. I firmly believe that Resurrection Saturday is felt most intensely in the Holy Land and I hope that you too will enjoy these special moments with us. Light comes primarily from our souls, Light is in us, light is in people” – Mădălina Iacobspecially sent to Jerusalem

“There are some places we choose, other places choose us. Radu Vodă Monastery chose me again this year. I will be there on the night of Resurrection to say together the most powerful words – Christ is Risen. And I think it’s not by chance. It’s the place where I felt I was at the church in my grandfather’s village, where at midnight, Christ is Risen, spoken in the choir, has a different power and meaning. Faith connects us to each other, brings us closer to God. It is the night when we rejoice that we experience the miracle of the Resurrection – as Jesus Christ said – “Rejoice! Do not be afraid, I am with you” – Bianca Jacob, Observer special reporter

The images and solemn moments of the Resurrection services in Jerusalem, Bucharest, Iasi and Constanţa will be available in the journals Observator, Antena 1, but also online, on observatornews.ro and Facebook Observator https://www.facebook.com/ObservatorAntena1 .
