Invitation to the theater, launched by the Ilfov County Council, through the Ilfov County Center for the Conservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture, together with the Buftea Cultural Palace and the Buftea City Hall. This weekend, the comedy “Vino Veritas” was staged at the Cultural Palace in the city of Ilfov. Entry was free.
The play is written by David MacGregor. The translation and adaptation belong to George Remeș, the soundtrack is made by Valeriu Borcoș (“K not K”), the artistic direction is provided by Daniel Popa, and the scenography is signed by Maria Ordean. The actors Mirela Zeța, Andreea Mateiu/ Ana-Maria Pop, George Remeș and Marius Călugărița are part of the cast.
“Of course, it is an invitation to the theater for anyone who appreciates quality comedy and authentic theatrical art. We are happy every time we can support the organization of such shows, because the joy of the soul for people is as important as the other basic needs. And after a busy week, we need relaxation, laughter and good mood“, said Mrs. Alexandrina Niță, the director County Center for the Conservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture Ilfov.

The comedy “Vino Veritas” does not aim to solve all of society’s problems and answer all of these questions, but it is certainly ready to put them on the table for debate. A truth does not make spring, but the more we ask ourselves these questions, the faster we will arrive, as a society, at some answers. So, for those who wanted to see a special show, full of humor, “Vino Veritas” was the key.
The events and activities that preserve the tradition and cultural heritage of Ilfov County, which have the role of educating the younger generations and promoting authentic values, are carried out by Ilfov County Council, through the Ilfov County Center for the Conservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture, in collaboration with the cultural centers of Ilfov.
