Serious accident in Olt! A 20-year-old man lost his life after the car he was in collided with a truck

Terrible scenes on a road in Olt! A tragic road accident took place, and a young man aged only 20 lost his life.

Today, April 29, the tragedy took place in Olt county. A young man aged only 20 years lost his life when a truck collided with his car, turning the road into a gloomy picture.

According to the information, the road tragedy happened before 10:00. On National Road 65 – also known as European 574 – near Slătioara commune, a car and a truck were involved in a devastating collision.

The impact was of extreme violence, resulting in the loss of the life of the driver of the car. The accident blocked traffic in both directions. At the scene of the tragedy, several teams of rescuers and traffic police intervened.

The car driven by the 20-year-old was reduced to a heap of contorted beasts following the powerful collision. The exact causes of the accident are not yet known.

The tragic accident was fatal for the car driver, who had no chance of survival. The images posted on the Facebook platform reveal a shocking scene, where the car was practically completely crushed under the truck. Imprisoned between the contorted beasts of the machine, the young man was trapped in a metal trap with no hope of escape.

“At this moment, road traffic on National Road 65 is blocked, in both directions, in Slătioara commune as a result of a road event. The police are present at the scene to establish the circumstances of the event”, said senior agent Claudiu Șerban, notes Eveniment de Olt.

Serious accident in Covasna as well

This morning, another serious incident took place in Covasna. Four vehicles were involved in a collision on DN 10, between the localities of Sita Buzăului and Zăbrătău. As a result of the impact, three people were transported to the hospital.

“Following the investigations carried out by the police, it was found that a 19-year-old young man, who was driving a car on DN 10, from Brașov towards Buzău, at kilometer 105 + 150m, in circumstances to be determined, entered the the opposite direction of travel and entered into a head-on collision with another car traveling from Buzău towards Brașov”, reports IPJ Covasna.

Following this incident, the 19-year-old, as well as two other men, both drivers of two other vehicles involved, were given emergency medical care and then transported to hospital for further investigation, according to information provided by IPJ Covasna .
