According to the forecast of the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), issued for the period from April 29 to May 27, 2024, in the last two weeks of May, the average air temperature will be slightly above the normal values ​​for this period, throughout the country, notes Agerpres .

In the range analyzed by meteorologists, the amounts of precipitation will generally be close to normal in almost all regions of the country.

Thus, during the week of April 29 – May 6, 2024, the thermal values ​​will be higher than those specific for this week, throughout Romania, but especially in the northern regions. The amounts of precipitation will generally be around those specific for this interval, in most of the country.

In the week of May 6 – 13, 2024, the average temperatures will be close to normal for this period, in all regions, and the rainfall regime will be generally close to normal for this interval, in most regions, possibly slightly excess in the mountainous areas.

The meteorological estimates for the next week of May, namely May 13 – 20, 2024, show an average air temperature that will have slightly above normal values ​​for this period, at the level of the entire country. Precipitation amounts will generally be close to normal for this interval, in all regions.

The weather in May in Romania

In the last week of the forecast, May 20 – 27, 2024, the average thermal values ​​will be slightly above those specific for this week, throughout Romania, and the rainfall regime will generally be around the normal for this period, in the most large part of the country.
