The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Tuesday, a yellow code warning of heightened atmospheric instability, a warning also valid in Prahova. In short periods of time or through accumulation, the water quantities will be 20…25 l/m2 and isolated over 40 l/m2.
The NMA warning of torrential rain, hail and electrical discharges is valid between May 7, 10:00 a.m. and May 7, 11:00 p.m.
In the mentioned interval, including in Prahova, there will be periods of increased atmospheric instability. Meteorologists have announced that there will be frequent electrical discharges, torrential downpours, hail, intensification of wind and gales.
Such phenomena will be present, according to ANM, in Moldova, Muntenia, eastern Transylvania and locally in Maramureș.
“In short periods of time or through accumulation, the amounts of water will be 20…25 l/sq m and isolated over 40 l/sq m”announced ANM.
Meteorologists have announced that such phenomena will be reported today, in limited areas, and in the rest of the country.
“In the coming days, the weather will be unstable especially in the western half of the territory“, stated ANM.
