“Following the meeting of the Prahova County Committee for Emergency Situations on April 27, 2024, chaired by Prefect Emil Drăgănescu, regarding the land subsidence event and the appearance of cracks on 23 August Street in Slănic, the public authorities and economic operators in the area (the Council Prahova County, Slănic Town Hall, Societăţii Nationale a Sării SA – Salina Slănic Branch and an economic operator), to make available within 48 hours the geotechnical and geological studies carried out within the area of ​​Slănic, in order to transmit them to specialized institutions and bodies ability”, it is stated in a statement sent on Saturday by the Prahova Prefecture.

Also, CJSU Prahova asked the Local Committee for Emergency Situations Slănic to take new measures for the safety of the population and goods in the area.
