Two children out of ten go to bed hungry in Romania, World Vision tells us. Such a thing is impossible in the country with I-don’t-know-how-many malls ready to open.

Dragoș Damian, CEO Terapia Cluj

Mrs. Mihaela Nabăr from World Vision brings to the debate a theme that distracts us from the electoral campaign, when we must focus on who we choose to bring even more well-being than we already have. Let’s emphasize from the beginning that it is impossible for two out of ten Romanian children to go to bed hungry. Let’s avoid disinformation and make a common front with all of us to debunk fake news.

  1. It is not true that we are in debt up to our grandchildren, these things about the budget deficit, the current account deficit, the trade balance deficit are exaggerations. We have the best GDP, foreign direct investments are at the highest levels, the country is a construction site, research and development, artificial intelligence, digitization, robotization flows through our veins. There is money everywhere in Romania;
  2. It is not true that the education system is not working well. The parents are satisfied, they no longer want to send their children abroad because the jobs of the future are in Romania, the education system is completely correlated with the labor market, the stories about the meditations, about the political and family sinecures, about the oligarchs who control the system are lies . Bullshit with the highest NEET in young people, let those who support this show us at least ten young NEETs, where are they? The nonsense with the children who are increasing the school dropout left looking after others because their parents are working abroad. In Romania the children are cheerful and happy, during the week otherwise they were all at the mall;
  3. It is not true that the health system has problems. There are exaggerations about the flipping of public-private resources, about political and family sycophants and oligarchs who control the system, about the lack of common medicines, about the new medicines that enter Romania long after they entered the EU, about the young doctors who will to leave the country, with the fact that you pay health contributions after which, being sick, you take money out of your pocket. Duduie constructions of hospitals, polyclinics, permanent care centers;

4. It is not true that we have undeclared work and tax evasion. These are Marcel Ciolacu’s exaggerations, we don’t know who put them in his mouth. Businessmen pay all the taxes, duties and contributions to the state and the state uses them judiciously so that all the children go to bed full at night.
5. It is not true that everything has become 2-3 times more expensive in recent years and that prices have exploded since January 1st. If specialized institutions tell us that inflation is 6%, we must believe it and avoid stressing business people who are struggling to make it from day to day.
6. It is not true that there is a shortage of human resources in the processing industry, on construction sites and in agricultural farms, they have been lying about this for ten years. The reality is that salaries in Romania are so high that employees leave from one employer to another. And in fact, the 200 thousand Asian workers who came to us are only in exchange for experience, to see how to work efficiently.

All the research done by the consultants shows that, despite the retirement of decrees, the demographic desert, crises, pandemics, wars and climate damage, the business environment in Romania is calm, optimistic and ready to adopt artificial intelligence.

So, Mrs. Mihaela Nabar, in a country where restaurants have a waiting list, hotels have a waiting list, charter flights for holiday destinations have a waiting list and holiday destinations in turn have a waiting list, we come hard to believe that two children out of ten go to bed hungry.
