The Nothing Brigade, the new series that will be on the Pro TV grid from May 20, will be broadcast three times a week. The comedy with Alexandru Papadopol, Iulian Postelnicu, Nicu Banea and Irina Ştefan will be scheduled from Monday to Wednesday, from 8:30 p.m., on Pro TV.
The first episode premieres on Monday, May 20 and replaces the Clanul series, which will end next Monday (May 13).
Giovanni (played by Alexandru Papadopol), Săgeata (staged by Iulian Postelnicu), Toma (played by Nicu Banea) and Carmola (played by Irina Ştefan) are the four policemen from the Nothing Brigade.
Iulian Postelnicu:
“I hope that people who will watch us will love these twisted characters and have at least as much fun as we did filming. And they better discover why they are called the Nothing Brigade (laughs)”.
Irina Stefan:
“The series focuses on the story of a police brigade, built ad hoc and made up of officers with very different personalities, with a different level of training, who try, with great difficulty, to solve a lot of cases.
The Nothing Brigade is a funny roller coaster from which anyone can escape! Similarities between me and Carmola? We both know how to sweep and apostrophize someone who crosses the line. I think the rest are differences.”
Alexandru Papadopol:
“I really like playing him and I have fun when he is put in all kinds of hilarious situations alongside his colleagues, and they are also people who ended up there (no: in the Nothing Brigade) because of all kinds of shortcomings and misunderstandings. Giovanni is brave, but also grandiose.
He is envious, but also generous and a good colleague. He tries to be charming, still forgetting that he is of a respectable age, as is the actor Papadopol who plays him. (laughs) Most of the time, the comic is born precisely from his attempts to seduce at any cost any woman who comes his way. We have a classic case of midlife crisis, treated by screenwriters with a lot of humor.”
Nicu Banea:
“He is a “praetor” from Ancient Rome, who travels through time. Or it is possible that he is a policeman from the country. It remains to be seen.
Brigada Nimic is a very entertaining project and I hope that this will also be transmitted to the viewers”.
