Extreme gesture in Prahova. A man ended his life after jumping from the sixth floor of a block of flats in Ploiesti. The police were alerted through the single emergency number 112 around 8:00 p.m.

Thoughtless gesture in Ploiesti

Initially the man threatened to end his days, and several teams of rescuers were sent to the scene. In a thoughtless gesture the man carried out his threats and threw himself into the void from the sixth floor, right in front of the police and doctors.

“On the 8th of May this year, at around 8:00 p.m., the policemen from the Ploieşti Municipality Police were alerted by a woman about the fact that a man intended to jump from the first floor of a block of flats on Mărăşeşti Street from the municipality.

Based on the notification, the police immediately went to the scene, together with workers from the other competent institutions. But, unfortunately, the man threw himself into the void”, announced the Prahova Police.

He jumped from the sixth floor

It is the second case of this kind recently. In November of last year, a young man of only 21 years threw himself from the 10th floor of another building in Ploiesti, after he had argued with his father. The boy allegedly consumed prohibited substances. After arguing with his father over drugs, the 21-year-old locked himself in his room.

“Police officers of Section no. 3 Ploiesti police were alerted by calling 112 about the fact that a person had thrown himself from the floor of a block of flats on Infrațirii street in the municipality. Arriving at the scene, the police found that the reports were confirmed. It is about a young man, 21 years old, who jumped from the 10th floor of the block where he lived”, informed the Prahova County Police at the time.

Medical crews quickly arrived at the scene, but could do nothing other than determine the time of death.
