30 burglaries near Pitesti, in just a few hours! Two men struck fear into people

Two men from Ilfov were detained, after stealing from no less than 30 buildings within the radius of Bradu commune.

They broke into people’s homes, wearing gloves and hoods, on the night of May 18-19, 2023.

The two individuals, aged 29 and 31, were identified by the police in Pantelimon and were taken to the police headquarters.

The damage created amounts to 5,000 lei, representing goods stolen from uninsured cars.

“On the 25th of April this year, the policemen of the Albota Rural Police Department continued their investigations in a criminal case under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Pitesti Court, regarding the commission of the crime of aggravated theft, in continued form (30 material documents) and identified and detained two men, 29 and 31 years old, both from Ilfov county.

From the investigations, it was established that on the night of May 18 to 19, 2023, between 00:00 and 03:30, those in question would have entered the yards of 30 buildings within the radius of the Bradu commune, by climbing the fence, wearing gloves and hoods

The total value of the damage was established at approximately 5,000 lei, the goods being stolen from several cars that were left uninsured.

On the basis of a complex evidence administered in the case, the suspected persons were identified, and on April 25, the two men were detected by the police, within the radius of the city of Pantelimon, Ilfov county, being taken to the police headquarters, based on the arrest warrants issued in the case,” the Argeș Police transmits.

After serving probation, the 29- and 31-year-old men were detained for 24 hours.

During today, April 26, they are to be presented to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Pitesti Court with a proposal to take a preventive measure.

The police are continuing the investigation.
