“More and more voices are saying that in AUR everything is sold for money” (former county coordinator of the AUR branch in Galaţi, Emil Radu Fiscutean). Yesterday, he submitted an address to the Electoral Office challenging the current leadership of the AUR and, consequently, the legality of submitting the lists for the local and European parliamentary elections.

The latest scandal is related to contesting the lists submitted by AUR for the local elections. But also the challenge of the current leadership, represented by Alexandru Bordian. A citizen from the Republic of Moldova that no one has heard much about.
Basically, Emil Radu Fiscutean accuses that he has not been revoked until this moment from the position of county coordinator. Not legally, at least. Consequently, on 07.05.2024, he submitted an address to the Central Electoral Office/Galați County Electoral Office. By which he announced that he was not dismissed by anyone legally and that in this situation the submission of the AUR lists is not statutory and legal.
The so-called appointments and dismissals are done in an arbitrary, non-statutory and illegal way, only by the party president or the general secretary saying what they want over the phone. (…) The party is led in a dictatorial way by one man: George Simion. In flagrant violation of both the statute and the law of political parties.

Completely incomprehensible, in this scandal, is the total lack of reaction of the current management of the AUR Galaţi branch.
I contacted the coordinator of the AUR Galați branch today to ask for his point of view. Alexandru Bordian admitted that there were such problems, but he confessed that he thought they were solved. He did not know about the last address submitted to the Electoral Office by Emil Fiscutean. Nor the fact that the AUR lists had been challenged. So he asked for some time to inquire about the situation.
He promised to come back with explanations. But he didn’t do it again! It is incomprehensible how the coordinator of a party branch refuses to come up with clarifications in such a situation. A few days before the start of the election campaign. why would you run How do you avoid answering and possibly denying such accusations?! It’s like admitting the charges.
Or, under these conditions, what can we say about the rumors that suspect the gold medalists from Galați of non-combat. But the accusations don’t stop there. Fiscutean denounces the practice of “paying” for positions.
A few weeks ago, President George Simion showed up untimely at the headquarters of the AUR parliamentary office with a certain Mrs. Simona Vreme. Organizing a press conference in which she was presented as the AUR candidate for the position of mayor of Galați. Without being a member of the party, without being known to any of the AUR Galați members, without having carried out any activity within the party. Then he imposed on the lists of the County Council, on an eligible place, also her husband. More and more voices are saying that in GOLD everything is sold for money.
