Ilie Bolojan, nominated PNL candidate for the presidency of the Bihor County Council / Florin Birta is running for a new mandate as mayor of Oradea

The leader of PNL Bihor, Ilie Bolojan, was officially designated, on Thursday, the formation’s candidate for the presidency of the Bihor County Council, while Florin Birta will run for a new mandate as mayor of Oradea municipality.

“During the meeting of the PNL Bihor County Board of Directors that took place today, April 25, Mr. Ilie Bolojan for the position of president of the Bihor County Council and Mr. Florin Birta for the position of mayor of the Municipality of Oradea”, it is stated in a press release sent by PNL Bihor.

According to the cited source, the lists of candidates for the Bihor County Council and the Oradea Local Council will be announced in the coming days.

Ilie Bolojan, leader of PNL Bihor, obtained the first term of office as president of the County Council in 2020, after holding the position of mayor of Oradea for three terms. For his part, the liberal Florin Birta will enter the race for the second term as mayor of Oradea.
