Silver Sabrina! Second European medal for the 16-year-old Romanian. How close it was to gold

Gymnast Sabrina Maneca Voinea (16 years old) won, on Saturday, the silver medal in the floor final at the European Championship in Rimini. It is the second medal for the tricolor gymnast, after the silver one on beam. In the individual-compound he was in 4th place.

Sabrina Maneca Voinea was scored for her evolution on the floor with 13.700, just like in the qualifications, with which she obtained the silver medal.

Manila Esposito (gold, Italy, 13,833) and Angela Andreoli (bronze, Italy, 13,666) also climbed the podium.

Also on Saturday, in the jumping final, Ana Bărbosu ranked 4th (13,666), and in the beam final, Sabrina Maneca Voinea won the silver medal (14,166), while Lilia Cosman was in 4th place (13,500).

The Romanian team will also be present in Sunday’s final, after it ranked 4th in the qualifications (158,798 points).

Also on Sunday, the juniors Anamaria Mihăescu will perform – vault final (8th place) and beam (8th place), respectively Alexia Blănaru – beam (7th place). In the junior team ranking, Romania finished in 8th place (142,063 points).
