Mihai Neșu revealed who Iulia is, the woman who supported him after the failed marriage he had with his ex-wife, Maria. The ex-footballer’s partner changed her life for his sake.

Mihai Neșu made revelations about the difficult periods in his life, more precisely about the death of his parents, both deceased in 2014, but also about the accident he suffered during a training session of Utrecht, in 2011, when he learned that he would remain immobilized in a wheelchair.

However, the former international would meet Iulia, who contributed to the founding of a recovery center for children with neuromotor disorders. At that moment, his life changed, as it were Mihai Neșu himself testified.

“I went through a not so easy time in 2014, when my parents died and I wasn’t really keen on this thought, to put it into practice.

But when I met Iulia, the current director of the Foundation, who moved from Bucharest specifically to put my wish on its feet… basically, thanks to her, the current center came into existence.

Since 2015, since we opened the St. Nectarie Recovery Center, which now receives so many children for recovery, it has become our home”, said Mihai Neșu, according to the publication Antenastars.ro.

By the way, the former player and Maria divorced shortly after Mihai Neșu’s accident, he saying that the decision to separate did not belong to his ex-wife, as was reported, but to him.

“Actually, the reality is that I decided to divorce her due to illness. It was my decision. People blamed her a lot, because people can’t understand (…) I realized that it was a very big shock for her too (…)

They never liked being on TV and most things were exaggerated. He was with me at the hospital as well. I want the world to know that it didn’t happen as it was written”, Mihai Neșu also testified, named the best left back in the Eredivisie in his first season in Utrecht.

Mihai Neşu signed with the “red-blue” group in 2001, where he stayed until 2008, after which he left for Holland. At FCSB he played in no less than 111 games, and for the Dutch from Utrecht in 104 duels.
