Romanian and Swiss entrepreneurs and investors, members of the Switzerland-Romania Chamber of Commerce (CCE-R), elected a new Board of Directors consisting of eight members and led by Adriana Cioca, Managing Director of the real estate developer Artemis Romania, part of Artemis Holding Switzerland .

“We will promote collaboration between members and develop innovative projects that support the interests of our members, both from Romania and from Switzerland. We will continue to identify and create profitable business opportunities and support the growth of companies within this dynamic community”, says Adriana Cioca, the new president of the Switzerland-Romania Chamber of Commerce and managing director of Artemis Romania.

The new Board of Directors of CCE-R consists of Frank Loeffler, General Manager, Roche Romania, Adriana Cioca, General Manager, Artemis, Daniel Hauri, President, Elbcon Holding, Laurenţiu Ştefănescu, CEO, Sika Romania & Adeplast, Lucia Stoicescu, CEO , mindit.io, Teodora Koletsis, Partner Lawyer, Gruia Dufaut Law Office, Ovidiu Dîmbean-Creţa, Rector, ASEBUSS Business School and Miruna Enache, Fiscal Partner, EY Romania & Moldova.

Adriana Cioca has extensive experience in the field of family businesses and has coordinated national and international projects in the fields of FMCG, real estate, aviation and agriculture. A graduate of an MBA program at the WU Executive Academy business school in Vienna and a specialization program at Harvard, Adriana Cioca followed her doctoral studies at the Doctoral School, majoring in Management, at Valahia University in Târgovişte.

In parallel with his managerial role, he works on research topics with a focus on the decision-making process in family businesses. His sphere of interest extended to the fields of: sustainable investments, reaction time in the decision-making process, the main drivers of innovation, family business risk in all its forms and family succession.

With 18 years of professional experience, Adriana Cioca has been working within the Artemis Group since 2015, and is currently General Director for Romania and Corporate Manager for the Group’s international projects. He previously held various managerial roles for the Immofinanz Group and Tiriac Holding.

Switzerland – Romania Chamber of Commerce (Switzerland – Romania Chamber of Commerce) counts 117 members from different sectors, which together generate revenues of 19.8 billion euros globally and which have over 18,000 employees.

Switzerland ranks 8th among the largest investors in Romania, with cumulative investments of 4 billion euros at the end of 2023, representing 3.7% of the total stock of foreign direct investments in Romania, according to data from the National Bank of Romania.
