Andrei Carabelea submitted his candidacy for a new mandate at Piatra-Neamț City Hall

The mayor of Piatra-Neamț and the president of PNL Piatra-Neamț, Andrei Carabelea, submitted his candidacy for a new mandate today, accompanied by the PNL candidates for the Piatra-Neamț Local Council, George Lazăr, the president of PNL Neamț and the candidate for the position of president of the Neamț County Council and senator Eugen Țapu-Nazare.

“I am 100% convinced that Andrei Carabelea, starting on June 9, will continue in the position of mayor of Piatra-Neamț Municipality. The National Liberal Party will win Piatra-Neamț Municipality and George Lazăr will win the vote of the citizens of Piatra for the position of President of the Neamț County Council. In the last three and a half years I have made the PNL team a team more united than ever, better organized than ever and more disciplined than ever, and these three are the ingredients of success in the elections.” said Senator Eugen Țapu-Nazare.

“Three and a half years ago I started this mission aware that it would not be easy, and I was right, because the investment need of the Piatra-Neamt Municipality was very great. We were coming after almost a decade in which dust settled over our city and no other work was done except for spoiling, patching, which was returned to year after year. I made an important decision with my colleagues: to make long-term investments, a unique chance that our city had then and still has now: sustainable investments, made with European money. This is the way we started and this is the way we must continue. We started 2020 in a tough battle, in a close competition, with formidable candidates. Today, things are not much different from then, but the difference is that if you look at my opponents, today I am fighting with those who destroyed the city! I ask the residents of Pietre to be vigilant, to be attentive and to give the Piatra-Neamt Municipality and Neamt County the chance to have a coherent team, with an articulated strategy, that will work shoulder to shoulder for the development of the community. The city has embarked on a complex program of investment and capital repairs that requires continuity, because you know very well that there is no such thing as a successful one-term mayor.
