Defying the signals of police crews on public roads may not be the best idea, and when running is intertwined with lying and possibly other older issues, staying free for too long becomes less and less likely. A 34-year-old man from Drăgușeni felt it on his skin, who, while driving a car on a road in the village of Fundeanu, put the police on his trail and, with that, a mountain of trouble.

Officers signaled for him to stop, but he accelerated and continued speeding, striking the fences of several properties. After a few hundred meters, he got out of the car and jumped the fence of a house, which the police would find out was his.

He had a few seconds to come up with a strategy with his wife, which would confuse him even more.

“After a few minutes, a woman came out of that building, who declared that she was the one who drove that car. From the checks, it turned out that the man who refused to stop at the police signal has a suspended driver’s license, refusing at the same time during the taking of biological samples, in order to establish the blood alcohol level”, said the head of the CMS. Felicia Tudoran, spokesperson of IPJ Galati.

As a result, the fugitive man was charged with refusing or evading biological samples, driving a vehicle without a driver’s license and inciting perjury. Moreover, he was detained for 24 hours, after which the judge of rights and liberties will decide whether to accept the preventive arrest proposal formulated by the Tg Prosecutor’s Office. Peony.
