The “Ștefan cel Mare” Vaslui County Museum, an institution subordinate to the Vaslui County Council, organized on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m., in the basic Exhibition Hall of the institution’s Ethnography and Folk Art Section, the opening of the temporary exhibition ” Secular and Sacred – Romanian Easter celebrations”.

The exhibition project brings to the public’s attention cultural assets from the heritage of the Vaslui “Ștefan cel Mare” County Museum, objects specific to the Orthodox Christian cult (icons, ark, prescura seal, pectoral cross, pendentives, etc.), elements of the traditional Romanian holiday port and eggs penned specific to the great celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord.

Father Adrian Chirvasă, archpriest of the Vaslui Archdiocese, Albert-Gabriel Grecu, head of the Museography, Museology and Museum Pedagogy Section, and Paula Andreea Nițoi, museologist, spoke at the opening.

In conclusion, the members of the Vaslui Youth Orthodox Association performed religious songs specific to the great Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord, among which we mention: “Easter carol”, “The Lords of the World were afraid”, “From the dark tomb” and “Christ is Risen!” “.
