Six companies want to design the continuation of the runway on the banks of the Cibin. Their offers will be evaluated until October

Six companies signed up for the tender for technical design services for the development of sections II and III of the banks of the Cibin river. The contract is estimated at the value of 917,000 lei without VAT and refers to the preparation of the necessary documentation for the authorization of the execution of the works and technical assistance during the implementation of the project. The two sections for which the feasibility study is being developed have a total length of 5.1 km: section II is the one between the “La Cascade” area (Trandafirilor str. in the Turnișor neighborhood, where the future leisure and sports center is also proposed to include an aqua-park) and the Alba Iulia road, and section III is the one between the Sibiu ring road, Podului street and Ștefan cel Mare street.

The project will include the development of technical documentation for the Technical Design (PT) phase, Execution Details (DE), Documentation for Construction Authorization (DTAC) and Technical Documentation for Obtaining Approvals (DTOE), as well as the relocation or protection of existing utilities. Also, checks of the project will be carried out by authorized verifiers and necessary revisions according to the legislation in force.

The six companies that submitted bids to award the city hall contract are Romasco Concept SRL, Construct CDP, FIP Consulting, ING Proiect Management, Drum Design and Aquacon Proiect.

The deadline for the evaluation of offers is October 8.

In total, the two sections will be 5.1 km.

At 53.7 million lei, including VAT (in the prices valid at the beginning of March 2023), the value of the extension of the facilities on the banks of the Cibin is approximated.
