The EURONEST Intercommunity Development Association receives a contribution of 168,093 lei from CJ Vaslui

Vaslui County Council (CJ) will approve the amount of the contribution that will be paid to the EURONEST Intercommunity Development Association, for the year 2024. The assessment of the contribution of Vaslui County, as a founding member of the association, amounts to 168,093 lei and will be borne from the local budget of county for the year 2024, within the limits of the amounts allocated for this purpose.

“The EURONEST Intercommunity Development Association (ADIE) represents the legal form of achieving the partnership for intercommunity development between the county authorities representing the communities of the six component counties of the North-East Development Region. The association was established for the purpose of correlating in a regional framework the projects that can be financed from public funds, through the financing programs to which Romania is a party”it is stated in the report to the draft decision.

Until 2012, the area of ​​intervention of the association was limited to improving the capacity and quality of the public emergency intervention system, the provision of emergency medical assistance and qualified first aid.

Since June 2012, the range of investments and projects that the association can carry out for the benefit and support of its founding members has been expanded, so that today its mission is “the preparation and promotion, at all levels, of projects aimed at regional development, common interest for all the six associated counties, in the fields of health, social services, transport, water/wastewater, environment, public administration, education and to obtain internal and external financing necessary for their development”.
