Eltron Technology inaugurates the first European factory in Romania

Etron Technology, an Asian electronic component manufacturer, is expanding its global presence by opening its first European manufacturing facility in Oradea, Romania. The company, which already has production units in China, Vietnam, Mexico and Singapore, chose Romania for its new factory, renting 3,600 square meters of production space in CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal.

This strategic decision reflects the increase in demand for nearshoring activities and the recognition of Romania’s competitive advantages. CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal, the first industrial park with an air cargo terminal in Romania, offers top infrastructure and optimal connectivity, consolidating Oradea’s status as a growing production hub.

Etron Technology’s new factory will operate mainly for SMT & MI, production line with test and assembly, and will benefit from advanced technologies such as temperature and humidity control, as well as customized equipment to ensure high quality standards.
