“The residents of the Preajba neighborhood want a minimum of conditions: potable water, sewage, street lighting in both directions, asphalt… Many of us want to make a change in our city, but give up because of the obstacles we encounter.

What we asked the speakers of the Preajba district last week is to be united. It just takes enough people to step forward and then others will come forward and make themselves heard. I promised the citizens that I would do everything in my power, from the position of prefect, to help them. It is not normal that after so many years when these problems persist, no solutions have been found until now. Don’t settle for less, trust that it CAN. Târgu Jiul must become the place where you stay, more than you leave,” Iulian Popescu said.
