The City Hall of the City of Sibiu published on Tuesday, April 2, the final results of the evaluation of the management of the National Theater “Radu Stanca” Sibiu, the House of Culture of the City of Sibiu and the Theater for Children and Youth Gong Sibiu.
According to the evaluations, Constantin Chiriac, general director of the National Theater “Radu Stanca” Sibiu and Adrian Tibu, director of the Gong Theater for children and youth obtained a grade of 10, and Ovidiu Dragoman, director of the House of Culture of the Municipality of Sibiu obtained a grade of 9.94.
“That’s the note. That’s all I could do or that’s all they appreciated. It was a year made more difficult by the legislative changes, but not to the extent that it affected our activity to a great extent, we had increases in the number of shows, in spectators, I am satisfied with what we did”, said Ovidiu Dragoman for Turnul Sfatului.
Adrian Tibu says that the grade reflects the work of the entire team at Teatrul Gong. “This note is a collective effort of the Gong team. Beyond the poor remuneration of cultural workers and, above all, the deprivations of workers in a children’s theater, we manage to provide a public service with continuity, with cultural actions that cover a major gap in our community. With all the turbulence and shortcomings around, it is reassuring to be subordinated to a city hall for which funding the theater is a natural tradition for development and not an electoral campaign. Thank you to everyone who makes the magic of our theater continue to shine,” he said.
