Two students were robbed yesterday near a school in Budeasa.

A 55-year-old man from Olt County stole two satchels containing personal belongings and supplies.

“On April 2 this year, the police officers from the Bascov Rural Police Section continued the investigations in a criminal case under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Pitești Courtregarding the commission of the crime of theft (two material documents) and identified and detained a 55-year-old man from Optași-Măgura commune, Olt county.

From the investigations it was established that, on April 2nd, while he was in Budeasa, he allegedly stole, from the property of an educational unit, two satchels containing personal goods and supplies.”, reports the Argeș Police.

The goods have been recovered and are to be returned to the injured persons.

Also, the man was detained for 24 hours, on the basis of an ordinance, to be presented today, April 3, before the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Pitesti District Court, with a proposal to take a preventive measure.
