The cause of the Uliului street collapse is not yet known

Now the technical expertise is being done to determine the cause and what solution must be applied to consolidate the landslide.

Circulation on Uliului street was closed, following the landslides reported in the last days.

Until the road is restored, temporary traffic routes will be set up, and RADP will take care of their realization.

Mayor Emil Boc gives us more details:

The expertise will tell us for what reason and what type of drilled pillar or what technical solutions will be made available immediately. Until then, however, together with my colleagues, I made a note of findings, asked experts for proposals, found alternative travel routes for citizens, ensured with the local police information for those who wanted to know what happens in the future and people have a alternative solution at Turk’s Cut to be able to get home until the situation with this landslide is resolved.
