The Prahova County Council proposes to support, with non-refundable funding from public funds, projects for non-profit activities of county interest for the year 2024, in accordance with the budget provisions for the year 2024, in the total amount of 4,200,000 lei. The project for the approval of the annual program of non-reimbursable financing from the public funds of Prahova county for non-profit activities of county interest for the year 2024 will be put to the vote in the county council meeting today, April 30.

The financing of the projects will be based on Law no. 350/2005 on the regime of non-refundable financing from public funds allocated for non-profit activities of general interest, with subsequent amendments and additions.

The following minimum and maximum values ​​apply to grants for individual projects that can be funded under the programme:

1. Culture and education – minimum value 5,000 lei – maximum value 40,000 lei

2. Health – minimum value 5,000 lei and maximum value 40,000 lei

3. Social – minimum value 5,000 lei – maximum value 40,000 lei

4. Youth – minimum value 5,000 lei – maximum value 40,000 lei

5. Environmental Protection – minimum value 5,000 lei – maximum value 40,000 lei

6. Sport for all – minimum value 5,000 lei – 40,000 lei

7. Performance sports – minimum value 100,000 lei – 1,400,000 lei

The awarding of contracts with non-reimbursable financing will be based on public selection and evaluation by commissions appointed by the President of the Prahova County Council.
