At the beginning of this week, 28 psycho-pedagogical assistance offices, belonging to some pre-university education units in the county, received the necessary furniture for carrying out the activity, and by the end of April the equipment for three more support offices will arrive, within the project “Equipment with furniture, didactic materials and digital equipment of pre-university education units in Ialomița county”.
“These modern and functional facilities are designed to provide our students with a comfortable and safe learning environment. I am happy to see that our initiatives in education are starting to materialize and bring direct benefits to our children. We continue to work for a better future for our young people,” said Marian Pavel, president of the Ialomita County Council.
Last year, in March, around 50 UATs from Ialomita County became partners with the Ialomita County Council, in order to jointly implement this project financed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – component C:15 – Education, its total value being 55,804,972 lei.
This year, on February 1, the president of the Ialomița County Council signed part of the contracts related to the purchase of these school equipment for 65 public education institutions, plus 37 district school structures.
Within this project, 738 classrooms will be equipped with digital equipment, 39 computer labs, 9 computer labs for preschoolers, 42 science labs will be equipped with specific furniture, 44 science labs will be equipped with digital equipment, 4 IPT practice workshops equipped with specialized equipment, 752 classrooms equipped with specific furniture, 87 school offices/pedagogical assistance offices/gyms equipped with specific furniture.
Therefore, approximately 21,300 students from preschool, primary, secondary, high school, professional and post-high school education in Ialomița County will benefit from the implementation of this large-scale project.
