A traffic accident took place on Tuesday afternoon at the exit from Valea Oltului, on the ring road of the city of Călimănești.
The police officers who arrived at the scene say that, from the first checks carried out, “it was established that on the National Road 7 CC, in the Călimănești locality, for reasons to be determined following the investigations, the driver of a road train, a 54-year-old man from the county Alba, would have lost control over the direction of travel by leaving the roadway, being projected into the Olt river, near the Călimănești dam”.
The road accident resulted only in material damage.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative.
In this case, investigations are being carried out to establish the causes and circumstances of the road accident.
